Timepieces

Stückwerke & KM timepieces are individually assembled in a dedicated, small-scale private workspace, with an emphasis on craft over mass production. The practice evolved from personal projects, focusing on refining technique and developing a deeper understanding of mechanical movements. The result is a limited number of pieces in which the process is as important as the final object.

The Commission

1. Consultation
Every Stückwerke commission begins with a conversation. We discuss preferences, purpose, size, movement type, and general direction. This step establishes whether a project is a good fit — technically and personally.
2. Concept & Mock-up
Based on the consultation, a preliminary concept is developed. This may include visual references, component options, and overall design direction. The goal is clarity, not speed.
3. Review & Approval
The proposed concept is reviewed together and refined where necessary. Only once the direction is clearly agreed upon does the commission move forward.
4. Order Confirmation
After approval, the commission is confirmed. Components are sourced specifically for the project, and the build slot is reserved.
5. Assembly & Regulation
The timepiece is assembled by hand in the workshop. The process includes fitting, adjustment, regulation, and testing, with attention given to both mechanical performance and overall coherence.
6. Delivery
Once complete, the finished watch is delivered directly to the client. Each piece marks the conclusion of a collaborative process — and the beginning of its life on the wrist.
